Meet Meredith Holmquist, Certified Lactation Counselor, Postpartum Doula and
Reiki Master
In 2009 while pregnant with my first child I became a Birth Doula. After the training, the births of my children and my breastfeeding journey, I knew I had found my purpose with passion. I no longer attend births but I am a Postpartum Doula and a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).

I pursued my passions and I became a Registered Yoga Teacher (200 Hour Training) in 2010 and an advanced Registered Yoga Teacher (300 Hour Training) in 2013. I am and have been deeply called to teach Prenatal Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

From 2025–2026, I stepped more deeply into my healing path and completed my Reiki Master training, expanding the depth and intuition I bring to my work.

All of my trainings and experience look different on the surface, but at their heart they are deeply connected. They all support major life transitions; are compassion based; and they all honor the body's wisdom and intuition.
I work with and serve all families regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability and national origin.

Love Notes From Families
Meredith met with me virtually just hours after my son was born. Her calm guidance and steady support helped me feel grounded and confident from the very beginning. With her gentle instruction, we worked on his latch and positioning, and before long I was nursing comfortably and he was latched on. I’m so grateful to have had that foundation right away.

As a veteran breastfeeding mom of four it was so important for me to support my sister as she learned to breastfeed her first baby. I had forgotten all of the details to nursing an infant-my youngest is now 16. Thank goodness we had Meredith to walk us through the basics those first few days. After a c-section. early help set my sister up to have latch her baby and have efficient and effective milk intake. This lead to boosting my sister's confidence and positive feelings about breastfeeding. I am so grateful for Meredith's knowledge, empathy and caring in a judgmental manner.

In the first few weeks, breastfeeding was more challenging than I expected. When Meredith met with us, she thoughtfully assessed both me and my baby and helped us work through the difficulties. She reassured me that breastfeeding shouldn’t be painful, and with a few small adjustments, I became much more comfortable and my baby began gaining weight more steadily.
